Personalized Tutoring and Academic Coaching

I was taught by Ms. Dreizen during my 6th and 7th grade years at Lincoln Elementary. There are few teachers who've had a larger influence on my educational trajectory and personal development than Ms. Dreizen. Her style and energy constantly push the status quo and bring out the true potential in all of her students. During this time period, Ms Dreizen routinely assigned us projects well above the standard curriculum. As a result my formal writing, critical thinking, and historical analysis skills increased dramatically to the degree of high school level. I never had a teacher challenge me to excel as much as she did. More importantly, Ms. Dreizen always created a culture of a love for learning in her classroom which was contagious. Students loved her curriculum and continue to look back on that time as their fondest of the middle school experience.

I have known Stefanie Dreizen for many years, first as my son's teacher when he was in 7th Grade. She moved to another state the year following yet remained in contact with him and another friend as a mentor. By extension me, my husband, and the other parents have also remained in contact and have observed her grow individually and professionally. She built a strong relationship with these now adults and has even attended some of their milestones, including college graduations.
Her love of learning is infectious. As an educator she has taught writing and critical thinking skills to her students. But as a person, Ms. Dreizen encourages her students to delve into their subjects with a gusto that leads to an appreciation and deep understanding of the subject matter.

Ms. Dreizen is student centered and deeply enjoys the intellectual curiosity of young people. She has the capacity to challenge and encourage young minds and creates a learning environment that celebrates progress. Students seek her out for her honest but kind feedback. Ms. Dreizen is responsive to parents and is a willing partner to develop a learning space that nurtures academic growth. Ms. Dreizen is an amazing teacher, thoughtful coach, and capable facilitator of learning.
